The variety is hybrid developed from cross blw tree No.1 as the female parent and tree No. 273 as the Male parant.
The Nuts are medium in size with nuts weight about 5g and the shelling percentage about 27.5.
BPP-8
The BPP-8 variety is hybrid variety from cross of tree No 1 x Tree No 39.
The BPP-8 Variety has been performing well in Orissa and West Bengal.
This variety is said to be superior to be other six varities developed from Bapatla.
VRI-1

The teswadi-3 variety was developed and released from ICAR Research Complex Goa in 2007.
This variety is a selection from Ela village of tiswadi taluk of North Goa district.
The average yield of this variety is 5.5kg/tree with a net weight of around 9.4g and the shelling of around 29.25.
